Spellbound Showdown
I can't even begin to describe last night. As touched on in previous blog, United Way and Young Leaders in Philanthropy organized a spelling bee to raise money for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library charity which sponsors children by sending them a book to their home every month. It was also to raise awareness in child illiteracy. Now, with all that said, it still doesn't describe last night. Instead of trying my best to narrate the events, I will just let the pictures speak for themselves since a picture speaks a 1,000 words.
We won the UnBEElievable award for the best skit and opening. Duh! It was a no-brainer; we won it hands down. I don't know what place we came in as far as spelling bee, but we didn't do too bad! Congratulations to Enterprise and the team Spells Angels for winning overall spelling bee!
